Spring has sprung at our house! (i.e., a single daffodil bloomed in a pot full of weeds in our driveway. I would try to investigate how that is possible, but I know there is a decent chance my random husband planted one daffodil bulb, so I am not even going to ask)
Cora food update - she eats everything in sight from sun up to sun down. Last night she gobbled up my sautéed brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes.
Ina and I went with our friends Liz and Sadie to see Peppa Pig on Sunday night. Considering the fact that she has only seen a few episodes, we couldn’t see very well, and it was pretty warm in there, she seemed to enjoy the show.
It was fun to have a date with Ina with Cora stayed home. I forget how much she makes me laugh.
As you can tell from the pictures above, I have fallen into the time trap that is SnapChat.
I resisted for so long, mostly because I didn’t understand really how to use it. But, after reading this article, I feel like I am one of the cool kids. It is so fun.
I made Asian turkey meatballs for dinner - seriously so delicious with brown rice and roasted broccoli and cabbage. I just sliced the cabbage into “steaks” and put them on the pan next to the broccoli.
Oh, and I voted. I feel so lucky that my voting booth was a simple in/out 10 minute experience, which included catching up with an old middle school teacher. I heard stories of people waiting in line for hours. Ick.
I think that is all the randomness I have for you today. I am going to try to squeeze in a short run before the day officially starts.
