Good morning!
Even though we barely slept last night (and by we I mean all 4 of the souls that were crammed into my bed at some time in the night), I am feeling extra refreshed this morning.
What’s been going on around here:
A run to/walk home from “Danielle’s Lake.”
I took Ina there almost daily the second summer of her life, but ever since Danielle took her there it has been her lake. Go figure.
Ina had a low-grade fever (and a high grade attitude) on Friday morning, so I worked from home with her. My office is conveniently right next to the bathroom, which always buys me at least 45 minutes.
Letter sortin’ is time consuming.
Friday night the girls and I hit up Aldi and then I tried to copy Carrabba’s sausage and lentil soup. It turned out pretty good, but too spicy for the girls.
Yesterday was one of the most random days I have had in a while. I worked my part time job for an hour or so, and then had a call for my full time job, and then we loaded up the family in the car to buy some grass seed.
(This is my daily plea to pretty please get SnapChat so I can talk to you on it (username rachealkendrick). It is so fun. You won’t regret it. Well, you might because you won’t get rid of me for long.)
I also made sour kraut (trying my hand at fermentation),
worked out,
planted a few seeds, picked up around the house, ate pizza and buffalo wings (following the 90/10 rule), watched a movie (Hotel Transylvania 2),and then Kim came over and cut my and Ina’s hair. I told her we didn’t want to look homeless on Easter and she took pity on me.
Here is my plan for this week. It should be a good one!
