Today I am thankful for April Fool’s Day. Did you like my post? Did I get you?
I have never done an April Fool’s day joke, but last year I was completely fooled by another blog I read, so this year I thought I would give it a try. While I had a blast writing the post, what I didn’t expect was the joy I would get from it afterwards. As people texted me and told me they fell for it I couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
I admit there are times that I bite off more than I can chew, but I am not that crazy. Bless your hearts for thinking that I am that brave. Or crazy. Let’s stick with brave.
I am thankful that Dan and I had some one on one time Tuesday evening to tackle a little bit of the yard work while Ina went to a movie. He mowed and I weeded the garden, which was surprisingly more difficult than usual thanks to my growing belly.
Ina came home just in time for a few trips around the cul-de-sac.
I am thankful for these paleo morning glory muffins. I doubled the recipe on Sunday and they have been a great to-go breakfast this week and have easily kept me full until lunch. I plan to repeat them again very soon.
I am thankful that Ina had a good Easter celebration at daycare yesterday - they dyed eggs and had a egg hunt.
This might be the only hunt that Ina participates in because I had a scheduling mishap, i.e., pregnancy brain.
I am thankful for the tulips planted at my office. Every morning when I walk into work I don’t let myself take my eyes off of them because I know they will be gone too soon.
I am thankful that the terrible twos can only last for a year and that year is 1/4 over.
I am thankful for spring, coffee, sunrises, Ina’s hat, our pressure cooker, and of course, Jesus.
What are you thankful for?
