Dinner + Some Important Things

Hey! Happy Friday!

I am weirdly excited about this weekend, but I don’t know exactly why. Dan works, so I plan to spend most of it hunkered down avoiding the 3-6 inches of snow that are coming our way with a naked two year old, persuading her that the big girl potty is the coolest thing in the world. 

Don’t be jealous.

Dinner last night was particularly green.

Sun dried tomato turkey burgers (from The Daniel Plan Book), kale salad (massaged with olive oil, lemon juice, and salt and topped with chopped apple, walnuts, raisins, olives, and red onion), and roasted okra. 

Dan said this was the first time that he had tasted roasted okra, and I was about to argue with him when I remembered that every other time I made it I ate the entire pan by myself. Oops. 

Other things that you need to know:

- I had my health screening at work yesterday, and in one year of adding more good fats to my diet, my HDL (good cholesterol) went from 52 to 84! Yay!

-We met with a financial advisor yesterday and now Dan knows exactly how much money we have. This isn’t good.

-Ina is still rocking the naked potty training, but the second you put anything on that bottom she forgets she is supposed to use the potty.

-I haven’t exercised since Sunday. This is not acceptable.
