Good morning!
I am mixing it up today. I haven’t written a Thankful Thursday in three weeks. The silly holidays got in the way. I have a different post planned for tomorrow, and I didn’t want to go an entire month without being mindfully grateful.
I am thankful for finding #365DaysofTruth. I look forward to my 15 minute reading every morning. I also have never moved from the Old Testament to the New Testament in the same reading, and sometimes I need to sit and think a little bit before moving on. If you want to join in, it isn’t too late! The app is She Reads Truth.
I am thankful for Dan’s new job. It continues to go very well and I still can’t get over all the extra time he gets to spend with us. I love coming home to see his car in the driveway and having the extra hands to wrangle Ina and cook dinner at the same time.
I am thankful for my work’s gym. As my treadmill is completely dead and it is 3 degrees outside, if I want to put some miles in, this is my next best bet. I did 3 miles yesterday while watching TV on my iPad.
I am thankful that my in-laws spent the night last night. I was super tired and really needed a night of completely restful sleep, which I had because Ina slept with them. Although, I woke up at 2 am freaking out because I thought I saw the sun coming up and Dan and I slept through our alarms.
I am thankful for our pressure cooker. We made white bean and bacon soup in half the time last night, along with this slaw. Yum.
I am thankful that I made it out of WalMart alive and in a decent mood yesterday. Usually I want to scream when I leave that place.
What are you thankful for?
Ever since I read your post about your pressure cooker, I've seen it everywhere. I've even watched the infomercial a couple of times! We might have to buy it if it's as good as
