There are always two sides to every story:
Example 1: Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken
Bright side: I walked in the front door to a house that smelled deliciously of roast chicken.
I put onions and carrots at the bottom instead of foil. In my opinion, you absolutely cannot waste an opportunity to cook carrots in chicken drippings.
Downside: I messed up the slow cooker settings before I left and the chicken was slightly undercooked.
Bright side: My slow cooker insert did not explode in the oven at 400*
Downside: When Ina saw our dinner she asked what it was and I told her it was a chicken. She looked at it for a little bit and then I swear I could see the dots connecting and she had a look of horror on her face. Needless to say, Ina did not eat any chicken for dinner.
Example 2: Teaching Ina to pump lotion into her hands
Bright side: Free back massage
Down side: After my body, her body, and Dan’s feet (ew) were completely saturated with lotion, Ina did not want to stop pumping lotion into her hands
Example 3: Pregnancy Workout Motivation Chart
Bright side: I walked 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday
Downside: My legs hurt the rest of the day. Time to shop for compression leggings!
