Hello and Happy Sunday!
I hope your weekend has been great. Our has been pretty chill with one activity involved - the Santa Train. The town we live in has a train that doesn’t really operate anymore, with the exception of special events such as the santa train.
Ina loves trains, so I thought this would be right up her alley.
She was so excited to get on the train and even more excited when I told her that Santa was going to be on the train.
Then she saw Santa.
Things only went down from there.
I think this picture is pretty good, considering. As long as Santa kept his distance, Ina loved being on the train and singing Christmas carols. She kept on yelling, “We’re moving!” as she was looking out the window.
By the time the train ride ended she switched from saying, “Santa scary!” to “No, Santa’s nice!"
Besides wrestling a child, I plan to get in a little more activity this week:
Fitness:
- Sunday: 3 mile run
- Monday: yoga
- Tuesday: compound crusher
- Wednesday: rest
- Thursday: 1000 m swim
- Friday: 3 mile run
- Saturday: rest
Food:
- Sunday: porcupines in a skillet with homemade onion soup mix and shredded brussels sprouts
- Monday: eggroll in a bowl
- Tuesday: chicken pot pie soup
- Wednesday: out to eat for Dan’s sister’s birthday
- Thursday: leftovers
- Friday: Christmas party
- Saturday: reverse shepard’s pie
