Good morning! How has the weekend treated you so far?
Our’s has been pretty chill. Friday night Dan and I whipped up some dinner side by side and then went to bed at 7. Not kidding.
Saturday I had a Starbucks date with my friend Kim, I worked for a few hours, and then we went to a my great-uncle’s funeral. It was a sad day, but I enjoyed seeing the celebration of a man’s long and joyous life.
As soon as we walked in the door, Ina and I changed from our dress clothes to our PJs and planted ourselves on the couch. We read lots of books while waiting for Dan to bring home dinner and then we watched the first half of a movie before all of us fell asleep.
Today looks something like this: church - packing - football - friends over for dinner.
My food plan is going to be up in the air as I get on an airplane Tuesday afternoon, but I am going to make an effort to have protein and produce with every meal.
The great thing about running is that you can do it anywhere:
- Sunday: yoga
- Monday: 3 mile run
- Tuesday: 1000 m swim
- Wednesday: 3 mile run
- Thursday: blank and burn bodyweight circuit
- Friday: 3 mile run
- Saturday: rest
