Good morning!
No time for chit chat, there is so much to be thankful for today.
-I am thankful for my smoothie making assistant.
She really likes to press the “blend” button, but I constantly need to remind her to wait until the lid is ON.. We narrowly miss disaster about 25 times per day.
-I am thankful for free and effective workouts online. Yesterday I did this sprint workout and then this arm burner.
I was whimpering during most of the arm burner, so you know if it s a good one.
-I am thankful for Danielle sending me pictures of Ina during my work day.
Yesterday I really needed a smile and this one more than did the trick.
- I am thankful for leftovers. On Wednesdays Ina spends the night at her grandparents’ house and I work, which means there is no time for dinner making and no one around to eat it.
Thankfully, I had some leftover sautéed chicken, brown rice, and almond butter sauce. I roasted some green beans from my CSA and dinner was served.
- I am thankful for some down time. Last night, for the first time since Ina was born (she is > 19 months old!) I read a fiction book.
I have this problem of really getting into books and letting all my responsibilities slide (dishes, laundry, sleeping), so I am hoping I will be able to slowly make my way through this one.
- I am thankful for Jesus and the continued grace I receive in my life. My small group just finished reading the book of Job and now I think I have a better appreciation for having Him in my life. I didn’t think I could become more thankful for such a thing, and now I don’t think I can either, but I look forward to trying.
