Good morning! Happy Thursday/Friday!
Today I am thankful that Ina didn’t pull all the petals off my wild-flower bouquet.
She said “broke” and gave me a sad safe as she continued to pluck petals.
I am thankful for the amazing 70-degree weather we had yesterday.
After a veggie filled dinner (so many CSA veggies to use!),
Dan and I busted out the power tools and went to work on the overgrowth that is our back yard.
He had the chainsaw, I had the electric clippers.
(safety is no accident)
The monster vines don’t look amazing now, but they look much better. And I still have all of my fingers, and for that I am very thankful.
Ina was at her grandparents’ last night, so once we chopped up enough stuff, Dan and I lit a fire and stayed up way past our bedtime lounging and chit-chatting by the fire, which we haven’t done in a very long time.
I am thankful for that time we had together.
I hope you have an amazing holiday weekend! I will likely not blog tomorrow, but will see you on Sunday with a new food and fitness plan.
Happy Independence Day!
Your fire pit and sitting area look amazing, even with crazy vines... I'm so jealous! That's just the type of thing I'd like to have in our backyard someday :)
