Today I am thankful for the guy who saw me fall during my run yesterday and stopped his car to see if I was OK. I was - thankfully - he doesn’t know that falling is practically a weekly occurrence for me.
I am also thankful for the Otter Box on my phone that prevented the screen from shattering as I fell right on top of it.
I am thankful for the guys in our small group. I know I often talk about the girls and the friendships I have made, but we seriously have a fantastic group of fellas. I know being a Christian male has many challenges, and they guys rock at it. Dan is thankful for their friendship and guidance.
I am thankful that my in-laws can watch Ina while Danielle is out of town, but I have had enough Ina-less time. I want her back. Now. So I am thankful that I get to squeeze that girl as much as I want starting tonight.
Speaking of Danielle, I am thankful for so many things about her, but one I have discovered this week is her house’s closeness to my house - less than one mile! This week I have been driving Ina many places before and after work, which sucks up some very valuable free time. Of course, I am still thankful that we have so many people in our lives that I can drive Ina to for the day. We are truly blessed in that area.
I am thankful for gluten free pizza - that is delivered. Dan used Google yesterday and discovered that we can get gluten free pizza delivered to our front door.
Equally delicious and dangerous. Hopefully the ridiculous price tag will keep us away for the most part. (You would think that when Ina isn’t with us we would have so much free time and energy to cook dinner. It seems the opposite is true.)
That is all I have for today. What are YOU thankful for?
