Vegas Bound

Good morning!

How did you sleep last night?

Me?  Not too well.

First I was busy making packing lists,

and then Ina woke up.  I am crossing every finger, toe, and eye hoping that it wasn’t from ear pain, as she is now on her last dose of her second antibiotic.

However, because Dan and I are getting on a plane tonight, I plan to have Ina’s doctor look at her ear today to confirm that the infection is gone.  The sweet people at that office are going to get to know me pretty well.

In other news, I have decided finding time to swim or bike during the week is going to be difficult.

So, Ina and I busted out 3 miles, enjoying the beautiful weather.

We leave late tonight to go to Las Vegas and we don’t get back until Sunday morning.  Obviously, this will be the longest I have ever been away from Ina, and so far I think it will be OK.  I know I will miss her terribly, but she will get some quality time with her grandparents and it will be a good test for me.  We plan to take an entire week vacation without her in July, so this is a perfect trial run.

The last time we were in Vegas was 2 years ago, a few weeks before getting pregnant with Ina.

I can’t believe I blogged everyday I was there!  This time will be different - a guest post from Ina tomorrow for Thankful Thursday, and a guest post from Dan on Friday, for a product review.

I hope you guys have a good rest of the week!  I will see you on Sunday with my meal plan for the week and Monday with a full vacation recap.

I will miss you!

  5. I am so relieved to see there is someone else in the family that makes check lists for each trip. My family and friends give me serious grief about my "lists". I hope you guys have an incredible time, and come back energized and exhausted. That's how you feel when you had way too much fun!
