I am thankful for the book, “The Pout Pout Fish.”
However, after watching that video, I am considering changing my career to “YouTube book reader,” because there is obviously a giant need.
My friend Liz gave that book to Ina for her birthday, and it is one of our favorites. So much so that when I ask Ina if she is the pout pout fish, this is what I get:
Her pout from her pout pout fish imitation is good, but small is comparison to her real-tantrum warning pout.
My aunt and uncle are in town and watching Ina today, and because I have an early meeting, we did the drop-off thing last night and of course squeezed in some time for dinner and swimming.
I can’t remember where the pout originated, but I think it had something to do with this hug.
and then quickly turned into a full blown tantrum.
Didn’t you know? It is soooo hard to be an Ina Mae.
The tears mysteriously dried up as soon as she saw the water.
Other things from yesterday:
- A breakfast fritatta made with greek yogurt, asparagus, cheese, tomatoes, and eggs.
- Kale salad + chicken and rice for lunch
- Biked my heart out (13 miles!)
- Mexican + gummy worms for dinner
Have a good one!
What are you thankful for?
