Thankful Thursday: Ina Guest Post

Hey guys!  This is Ina Mae.

Or as I like to say, “IIIIOOOOONNNN Mae."

My parents are living it up in Vegas right now, so I thought I would help Ma’ out with a guest post.

Summarizing what I am thankful for right now is difficult because, let’s be honest, I’m living the dream.  I pretty much get what I want, when I want it.  Except for that dang iPhone that continues to evade my grasp, I have it made.

However, there are a few things that come to mind, so here goes.

I am thankful for food.

When I say I am thankful for food, what I really mean is I LOVE FOOD.  Kind of like my mom, I love it all.  Vegetables, dessert, Indian, french fries, etc. bring it on.

I am thankful for music.  Whenever music starts playing, my hands and feet come alive and I can’t help but jam.  Singing a song stops my crying, even though I try really hard to stay upset.

Seriously, my dance moves are sa-weet.

I am thankful for my grandparents.

I am blessed to have so many of them, and hugs and kisses are my favorite things to give out.  They take care of me when my parents cannot and that is when I get to have cake for breakfast.

I am thankful for my babysitter.  My mom is okay, but Danielle is awesome.  In fact, if I am in a room with my mom and Danielle, I hang on Danielle’s legs about half the time.  I can’t help but smile when we get to her house everyday, because I know I am going to have a great time playing with the dog, cats, and other kids.

I am thankful for the little deck outside my parents bedroom.

Every night we go outside to say goodnight to the moon and every morning we go outside to welcome in the day.  My mom even started keeping a coat next to the door, so we can go outside in a moment’s notice, which is usually how long I give her to get out there.

I am thankful for my mom’s blog.  It is good for her to have a creative outlet and get some alone time every morning so she is in a good mood when I decide to wake up.  So, thanks for reading!

Now it is your turn.  What are you thankful for?
