Today I am thankful for shelter. Bad weather always reminds me how blessed I am to be protected from the elements, when I know there are many who aren’t.
On the other side of that, I haven’t stepped outside in 60+ hours and I am starting to get a little cabin fever. Good thing I have Ina to entertain me.
(I hate to admit it, but I had to resort to Veggie Tales and barricades just so I could get some work done.)
I am thankful for PJs and puppy kisses.
I will not comment on the time that picture was taken. Really, how late is too late to have your pajamas on?
Ina has really started to notice the dogs. She loves feeding them, kissing them, and yelling at them.
I am thankful for comfort food -
Grain free apple upside down bread for breakfast
and slow cooker beef stew for dinner.
I can’t say enough how much I love my slow cooker.
I am thankful for family time. During the week we typically have people over at least 3 nights, but the snow has canceled all of that. Although we love the company, it was nice to have just the 3 of us the past few nights. The time has given Dan and I a lot more information on what exactly sends Ina into giggle fits. The answer - almost anything.
I am also thankful for nap time - because I started working during the wee hours of the morning I used nap time to get my 4.5 mile run in. Ah, it felt so good.
I hope you have a wonderful Friday Eve!
