I herby declare that the Monday after the Super Bowl be deemed a national holiday.
All in favor say, “My alarm went off way too early this morning."
Good, now that that’s settled I can go back to bed.
But first, a little recap of yesterday -
Family smoothies for breakfast (banana, spinach, flax, peanut butter, and milk). I wanted to make sure we all got in a few servings of fruits and vegetables yesterday.
Church - amazing sermon on honor.
Grocery Shopping - Ina rocked that cart.
Grilling on the front porch - super classy. We had a few families from our small group come over to watch the game.
Nick (above with Dan) and his wife Michelle put out a spread that I have never seen before. We had courses being served into the 4th quarter! The food never ended - bacon chicken bites, chicken wings (the best I have ever tasted), homemade pizza, dips, chips, etc.
Annndddd…that is where the pictures end. We had 8 adults and 10 kids over last night. When the kids outnumber the adults, I forget to take pictures and instead just sit back and watch all the activity around me.
Towards the end of the night, while we were sitting in a room covered with toys, one of the dads asked me, “Did you ever think you would have this many people in your house."
Ha! What he doesn’t know is how much I like it!
I hope you had a great weekend and cheers to the week ahead!
