Good morning and Happy Friday!
This Friday is extra special, because I am getting out of the house for the first time in 4 days!
Oh the places I will go.
Yesterday Dan’s parents came over to watch Ina while I worked my heart out in my office upstairs. I was sending emails and creating power point slides like a mad woman.
Ina was so excited to see someone other than Dan and I. She literally started dancing when they walked through the door. She had such a great time.
(Ina with Dorothy, her great-grandma)
When Dan got home I begged him for 20 minutes on the treadmill. He got a back massage, so really it was a win-win.
My sprint workout was really short, but went something like this:
- 5 minute warmup at 6 mph
- 1 minute sprint at 8 mph then 2 minute easy at 6 mph x 2
- 1 minute sprint at 8 mph then 1 minute easy at 6 mph x 5
Whew, my heart was pumping by the end of that baby. I should say that usually I don’t find 6 mph to be “easy” but compared to the 8 mph, it feels like I am practically walking!
I went straight from the treadmill to the dinner table, once I pulled this artichoke chicken out of the oven.
I used chicken breasts instead of quarters, served with a baked sweet potato, and it was pretty tasty.
Dinner was followed by bedtime for little miss, more work for this momma, and then starting to read my new download - The Daniel Plan.
Anyone else heart of it? I will write a full review once I am done reading, which might be very soon.
Have a great weekend!
Rachel let me know what you think of this. I read "about" it and have heard quite a bit about it....Would really be interested in reading it and hearing your thoughts.
