Good morning! Happy Hump Day.
This week has flown by, which is a welcome alternative to the past few weeks which seemed to last FOREVER. I'll take it.
Yesterday started out on the healthy side - tasting the rainbow for the Elf4Health challenge -
and then ended on the not so healthy side.
Cookies, cookies, everywhere!
Last night our small group made cookie boxes to use to invite our neighbors to church over the holidays. Every couple brought 1-2 types of cookies to contribute. I made no bake cookies and peppermint bark. With six families, we had quite the assortment of cookies and candy to give out (along with our church's brochure).
Don't you wish you were one of my neighbors?
I sent Dan to the store to buy red saran wrap for paper plates, and when they didn't have any he had a genius idea - buy plain gift boxes and draw on them!
(One of Dan's boxes <3)
The project ended up being so fun and the adults and kids could both participate. It was great to see everyone's artistic side - one guy in our group can really draw!
Here is our group (minus one couple who was sick and my mom who was taking the picture).
Ina didn't get to participate - instead she drew on her board. Wait until next year, baby girl!
Seeing our small group work together towards something was awesome - I look forward to our next project.
I hope you have a blessed day!
