Thank you...

Good morning!  I took a little blogging break over the weekend.  Instead of summing it up by pictures, I thought I would sum it up by thank yous.

Thank you Courtney for running and talking with me on Friday morning.  3.5 miles never felt so good.

Thank you Kansas City Royals for giving me a reason to be interested in baseball in August and not forcing me to watch pre-season football.

Thank you Mom for watching Ina while I ran some errands and went grocery shopping.  Bagging your own groceries at Aldi is so much easier while not holding a babe.

Thank you Jillian Michaels for kicking my booty in 20 minutes and making me sufficiently sore for the rest of the weekend.

Thank you Chessa and Meghan for eating Indian food with me and listening to me talk.  For a long time.

Thank you Dad for investigating the source of my flooding basement and fielding the 4 calls a day that started with, "It is wet again."

Thank you Pastor Kelly for a wonderful sermon about work.  I am now even more motivated to continue to find and fine-tune what God has shaped me to be.

Thank you Ina for napping long enough for me to paint my nails, mow the yard, roast a chicken, and make GF strawberry short cake.

Thank you to the writers of the movie Hope Springs.  I haven't laughed and cried so hard in one movie in a while.  (I didn't, however, cry as much as Dan. Ha!)

Thank you schedule for having a break and letting me do a little wind-down.

Thank you Dan for putting the radio in Ina's room.  A little noise does help her sleep better.  I hate it when you are right.

Thank you to my friends and family who checked on me this weekend.  I have heard that when things get a little tough you find out who your friends are.  If that is the case then I am one lucky gal.

Thank you God for making the above thank yous possible in my incredibly blessed life.

    1. Hi Angela! We ate Indian food at Taj Mahal in Waldo. I love it, but I have heard Saffron is way better. I haven't tried it yet, because I live in Belton and that is a far drive. Happy Monday to you too! :)

  2. I love posts like these. Inspires me to write my own or at least write my own list, whether I show it to anyone or not.

My husband can't sleep unless he has the radio on - all night long. This is something the two of us constantly struggle with and argue about! ;-)

    1. Oh my, you are a saint. I would never be able to sleep with a radio on - can he use headphones? ;)
