Time for a new challenge. In April I followed Weight Watcher's Simply Filling, loved it, and continued to follow it.
I have been reading some interesting articles about gluten and have decided to try going gluten free for a month to determine how it impacts my health and weight.
It doesn't seem like it will be that hard - I rarely eat things with gluten in them. I predict the most difficult things to give up will be cereal, pasta, and beer.
On September 1st I will let you know how it goes.
Guess what are gluten free? Corn tortillas.
(Yes, we took Ina out to eat in her PJs. Don't judge.)
Abby went home for the week (we miss her!) so we had a little family date at Mi Publitos for dinner last night.
Dan's parents watched Ina yesterday, which was completely out of her routine. She protested by not eating or drinking anything, so by the time we went to dinner she was super hungry. After we fed her her pureed broccoli and cauliflower she slurped up salsa and refried beans until we were done with our dinner.
This girl is an eating machine.
Ina and I busted out 3 miles yesterday. It is crazy how much resistance that stroller causes!
Question for the day
Do you know anyone who follows a gluten free diet? What is your impression? Any advice?
