Yesterday morning I coordinated a run with two of my running buddies, Courtney and Kim. Well, actually three if you count Ina, but she didn't have much of a choice in the matter.
It was great to introduce two of my friends to each other and the 3ish miles flew by. Maybe there is a relationship between the number of people you run with and how easy the run is?
Who else wants to meet at my house at 6:15 am tomorrow?
Because my run was already checked off the to do list, when I got home from work, I used my extra energy to blow up Ina's new pool that came in the mail last week. Thanks again, Amazon Mom membership!
The water was so cold, but Ina didn't care. Momma suffered through it.
Who cares about little things like water temperature when there are ducks to be played with?
Hopefully tomorrow will be warmer.
Last night's dinner is going to be my new go-to fast but filling, tasty, and nutritious recipe.
I bought a package of Bistro Sensations artichoke and motzarella chicken sausage and created this "recipe" around the flavors.
- Chop and sauté an onion, green pepper, and 3 garlic cloves in a drizzle of olive oil.
- Add diced sausage, a can of diced tomatoes, and a can of quartered artichoke hearts
- Simmer on low for ~20 minutes (or whenever your husband gets home from showing off his new car to anyone who will listen)
- Serve over whole wheat pasta
It doesn't get easier than that folks!
Have a great Tuesday!
