Under Armour sent me a box of goodies to help promote the What's Beautiful campaign I am working on with FitFluential.
it was like Christmas in May!
Receiving some UA gear reminded me of my two challenges - to train for a triathalon and to try a new type of fitness each week. As soon as I opened the package I put the shoes and a headband on, latched Ina in her carseat, and drove to our local community center.
Ina and I did a lap around the almost-mile track to test out the new kicks. (Walking verdict is good - the real test will be running!)
This gym has a lap pool and plenty of group exercise classes / weird looking machines for me to try to reach my new goals
Some other Friday favorites:
-Thanks to all who gave me some ant advice. My friend Kim gave me some Terro (which many of you recommended):
Dan, Abby, and I have been watching the ants flock to the stuff, knowing they are taking the poison back to their nest to die. I feel slightly evil, knowing they are headed to their demise.
- Doing the dishes isn't too bad when this is your view.
Dan loves putting Ina in a sitting position and watching her try with all her might to stay there. Eventually she tumbles over and he yells, "baby down!"
- We have baby bunnies in our front yard
This one greets me when I go to run in the morning
Green monster smoothie for breakfast - I can't wait until I can make a double batch and share with Ina!
Lunch - scrambled eggs with toast and carrots
Dinner - baked chicken nuggets, coleslaw, and corn on the cob. Ina had cereal.
Have a great weekend! I am off to try something new - swimming!
