I can remember, even a few years ago, going shopping specifically for an Easter outfit weeks before Easter.
Making sure I had tights and shoes to match.
Painting my nails the Saturday before.
Oh, how my life has changed.
Yesterday I literally chose a dress from a pile at the bottom of my closet, safety pinned it together (because one of the straps was broken), threw a wrinkled cardigan over it, and called it good.
Poor Dan looked like he was going golfing.
I was so proud that I remembered to add a layer of paint to my chipped toe nails.
But, Ina looked good and had multiple outfit changes.
Priorities, people.
Speaking of priorities, running was pushed to the bottom of the list this weekend. However, I have a date with my treadmill after I post this.
Have a great week!
Adorable! Looks like you had a nice Easter. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL at the chipped toe nails. It was unseasonably hot for our Easter and we were out of town, so I didn't have the appropriate clothes/shoes. I kept complaining that I wanted to run to Old Navy to get flip flops but I'd need to stop at the grocery store for nail polish/remover because I hadn't painted/cut my toes since mid-febraury. #momproblems My dad was giving me the hardest time about it, being very melodramatic, haha.
