My Aunt Charmen is here again, painting yet another room.
(She has had a few helpers.) Our house is getting another new addition.
Ina isn't getting a sibling, even better, she is getting a nanny!
I am so excited to finally "officially" say that my cousin Abby is moving to our house all the way from Houston, Texas to help take care of Ina when I go back to work in a few weeks. I didn't want to say anything until she was here, in fear of jinxing it.
I haven't talked about this much yet, but obviously I am dreading going back to work. It isn't the work that is looming ahead of me - I actually really like my job. It is the time away from Ina. I wish she would freeze in time when I walk out the door, so that I won't miss out on one single thing (like her busting out of her swaddle
or her watching the snow
or her discovering something for the first time).
Knowing she has someone that I can really trust, someone who I grew up with, my family, to take care of her while I am out of the house is the only way me being gone even seems possible. We are unbelievably blessed to have this opportunity.
So, I am sure you are going to see many more pictures of my dear cousin, as she will be involved in all of our shenanigans.
For the people who know me in "real life" (as opposed to "blog life") I am sorry to have cried wolf yesterday. I know you already knew that Abby was moving in, so this wasn't really an exciting announcement. I did get more than a few text messages asking if I was pregnant again - God no. I looked into it and I can't have 2 maternity leaves in the same calendar year, so I have to wait at least 3 months. Kidding. My midwife told me I need to wait at least a year because she thinks I could have the next baby vaginally. There are times when I want 10 more babies exactly like Ina, and then others when I don't think I have the energy for one more. Time will tell - but a long time from now. :)

I have been feeding a crowd the past few nights -
I lightened up *this recipe* for Scooter's Spaghetti by using whole wheat noodles and reduced fat cream cheese. Highly recommended.
I also repeated the crockpot Picadillo last night for dinner.
Exercise time has been hard to come by with a full house, but I did manage to sneak away to the treadmill yesterday for a 3.6 mile run.
Thought for the day
While we are on the subject....
