Sorry for the late post today. Just to give you an idea of how my day is going - after I finally got Ina Mae to stop crying so that I could run, all the smoke alarms in my house started going off. Lovely.
After a frantic phone call to my dad, who reassured me that my baby didn't have carbon monoxide poisoning and instructed me to re-set the breaker, all was well.
As today is Fat Tuesday, I am really picking my brain trying to think of something to give up for Lent. Last year I didn't give anything up, instead I added something - a green item in every meal. Although it was great for my diet and nutrition, it really defeated the purpose of Lent - to give something up.
Here are a few ideas of things to give up:
- Dessert
- Processed foods
- Alcohol
- TV
- Facebook (would I survive?)
Any other ideas?
Eats
Breakfast - kale and cheddar omelet with everything toast
Lunch - salad and chicken breast sandwhich
Dinner - chicken tamale bake following *this recipe* with beans and more salad
Run
Another 3 miles while watching Glee.
Hey Racheal are you still sticking with Weight Watchers? I will have to try the chicken tamale bake for sure.
