Yesterday the Missouri weather was absolutely beautiful. So, after my 3.5ish run on the treadmill, Abby and I decided to go on a little walk.
I strapped Ina in and away we went.
I wanted Ina to take in the beautiful day. However, the combination of the closesness to me, the body heat, and the sun requiring her to squint sent Ina into a deep face-plant sleep.
This was the first time we had used that baby carrier (Thanks Nigel!) and I am always so paranoid I am using them right. I only stopped to see if she was breathing 20 times. Regardless, it was a wonderful walk. Hopefully I will be able to relax a little more the next time and enjoy the weather.
Eats
Yesterday I made Abby and myself some didn't-boil-over-banana oatmeal (success!) topped with walnuts and a few chocolate chips for breakfast. (Ina was so upset about tummy time that she fell asleep.)
Lunch was two eggs with toast, goat cheese, and hot sauce.
Afternoon snack- apple and left over fruit dip <---a must try at your next get together.
Dinner - chicken stuffing casserole following a recipe similar to *this one* and salad (thanks to our Door to Door Organics delivery).
Dan made the request that we eat more salad. Sounds good to me!
Dessert - a piece of chocolate fish (my early Vday present).
It came in a box that said, "You're a catch!" Yep, I pretty much have the most romantic husband. Sorry ladies, he's taken.
We are now off to Ina Mae's 2 month check-up. Have a good one!
I'm so envious that you were outside in shorts as I sit here on a snow day from school waiting for this blizzard to come!!
