I absolutely cannot believe that one year ago today, I wrote this post. In some ways it feels like yesterday, and in others it feels like many years ago.
I never imagined when I started this blog all the things it would do for me. Motivate me. Inspire me. Get me out of bed in the morning. Keep me up at night. Provide a great route of communication with my friends and family. Be a way to make new friends.
It is such a part of my life now I can't remember what life was like without it. (I think I still had an internal monologue, I just didn't have anyone to share it with.)
A lot has happened in this single tiny year. I thought I would commemorate it to the lyrics of one of my favorite musical songs - Rent's Seasons of Love.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred moments so dear,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
How do you measure, measure a year?
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
How do you measure a year in the life?
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred journeys to plan
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life of a woman or a man?
Or the way that she lived (sorry, couldn't write the real lyrics there)
Remember a year in the life of friends
