Good morning and Happy Friday!
I sat in front of a computer for a LONG time yesterday, and today isn't looking any better, so I am going to try to keep this short.
Ever since I realized I was going to be noticeably pregnant on Halloween I have been trying to decide on a pregnant-girl costume. I mean, it isn't every year that I get to take advantage of such an awesome accessory.
My friend Chessa introduced me to Pregnant Chicken - a hilarious pregnancy website that has useful information mixed with wonderful humor. My favorite post is 25 Pregnancy Halloween Costume Ideas. You MUST read this. I could not stop laughing.
As Dan and I aren't going to any parties this year - unless we can find one that starts before our 8:00 bedtime - my costume doesn't have to be a big deal. I was thinking of something simple that I could *maybe* wear to work and then to pass out candy at our house that night.
Here are my top five favorites
1. The Kool-aide man - wear all red and put a felt face on my belly.
2. Magic 8 ball - this would obviously take the least amount of work, so it might be the winner (source)
3 A jack-o-latern - slightly more festive and keeping it classy (source)
4. Snoopy - I like this idea because Dan could be Charlie Brown and I LOVE couples costumes (source)
5. A solar system - I know, this is very complicated, but I couldn't help but include it. (source)
What I refuse to wear is one of these:
I know (hope?) that Margaret has a little baby skeleton. However, this shirt creeps me out, makes me shudder, gives me the eeby jeebies. Ick.
Food
Good news - I ate my last PopTart and I am not buying more. My friend Todd gave me a honey crisp apple at work. I also went grocery shopping.
Bad news - even though I went grocery shopping, I was so exhausted from walking around the store and putting everything away that I ate chips and cereal for dinner.
Thought for the day
Question for the day
Which costume should I pick? Any original suggestions? Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, have you decided on a costume for this year?
Ok- the treasure troll is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a Halloween person, but I love looking at everyone else's costumes! I love couples costumes, too... but I'd prolly go for the magic 8 ball for the ease factor. Can't wait to see what you choose!
