How in the world is it Monday already? I feel like I was just tucking myself into bed at 8:00 on Friday night, and seconds later I woke up this morning rattling off a to-do list off in my head.
My seemingly lack of a weekend probably comes from that fact that I didn't go anything this weekend. And I loved it. That is going to be my typical Monday post for the next 6 months. Welcome to the most interesting blog in the world.
On Saturday I went to my grandparents' house and hung out with with my family. We talked (a lot), went to the farm, counted cows, ate cake, and watched football.
I feel like when I go to my grandparents' house, I literally leave reality. I don't get on the computer, I rarely look at my cell phone, and the clock seems to move in ultra fast mode. Something else that I don't do is take pictures, but I did manage to capture a vogue picture of Hallaway and my dad.
Yesterday, the start of the paint crew came to my house. We now mentally have the room done, but physically are just getting started. But the couch is gone and the drop cloths are down. Progress is progress, people.
I just love having a table full of people at my house.
Hallaway didn't care much for my cooking and decided that her Johnny Jump-Up tasted much better.
Even though I didn't do any formal type of exercise I went to bed last night feeling like I did a full body workout. Lugging this baby around is hard work.
I hope you have a wonderful first week of October!
Thought for the day
Question for the day
Does your weekend go by faster when you are busy or relaxing? Which do you like better, regular chili, white chili, or something else all together?
