Honeymoon Turned Babymoon

A little over 4 years ago, Dan and I enjoyed our honeymoon in Hawaii.

We had such a good time that we are headed back tomorrow and taking his parents!

I booked this trip before I was pregnant, but it seems perfect that our honeymoon and babymoon ended up being the same location.

The last time Dan and I were there we didn't spend much time away from the hotel.  This time, I am excited to really explore the island of Oahu and see what it has to offer.

Anyone else been to Oahu?  Any activities or restaurants to suggest?

Although my blogging is going to be here and there due to the time change and need to step away from the laptop, I still have some posts scheduled, which include a few awesome guest posts.  You aren't going to get away from me that easy.

Someone put the rest of the peach cobbler in my Greek yogurt.  I didn't want to waste it, so I ate it for breakfast.

I had to run some errands over lunch, so my boyfriend Joe made me some sushi and cut up some pineapple.

I had a last minute dinner with my grandparents, who wanted to give me my birthday present before I left on vacation.  I did't take a picture of dinner because I was so excited about the birthday present.

How awesome is that?  Dan and I have been searching for a bird cage to to put in that little nook above the stairs and were *this close* to buying one in Saratoga Springs.  I am so glad we held out, because this one is so much cooler.

I am thankful they don't let you bring birds back on the airplane, because I am sure Dan will try.  Happy Friday!

Thought for the day

  1. I am so excited that you are going back to Hawaii. I've just visited for the first time this past April - beautiful! I've only been to Kuau'i, though, so I don't have any fun suggestions. No matter what, you'll have a wonderful time... Cheers~

  2. I am jealous. We are planning on going for our 5th anniversary, but that's 2.5 years away! have fun!!!
