Wedding and a Baby

Last night I went to my brother-in-law’s sister’s wedding.

It was beautiful, but we were on baby duty (for my niece and nephew) and didn’t partake in many of the typical wedding activities, which in my opinion, was even more fun.

Except for food and cake – I didn’t miss out on those.

My parents, Dan, and I left early to take the babies home.  Kauffman slept at my parents’ house and we kept Hallaway.  We got home at 11 pm, I rocked her to sleep, and she SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT.  I hope she was sending those sleep-all-night vibes to her cousin.

There is absolutely nothing sweeter than waking up to baby cuddles.  I don’t think I am going to giver her back.

Other Eats

Breakfast was a 2 egg, zucchini, potato, pepper, onion, and cheddar scramble with a small side of watermelon and the Olympics.

I had a bowl of cereal for lunch and was starving when we were going from the ceremony to the reception.  Dad to the rescue with his vehicle’s never ending supply of peanuts.

Now I am off to a day filled with family fun!
