Last night Dan played basketball with his friends and afterwards hung out with the boys in blue watching the Royals game. I wasn’t feeling too hot – I even drove home on my lunch break and worked the rest of the afternoon on my couch. So, I took this as a perfect opportunity to have some comfort food for dinner (leftover chili burrito style),
curl up in bed, and watch my new girl Emily.
For those of you who don’t waste 2 hours of your life each week on ridiculousness and drama, Emily is the most recent bachelorette. I have mentioned it before - this show always sucks me in. I really like Emily, but wasn’t really rooting for one of the guys until last night. Right now my top picks are Aerie and Sean. Who do you like?
Dan hates that I watch this show. He thinks it “makes a game show out of marriage.” He has a point, but I just can’t help it. He even went as far to say that “this show is not going to be on when our child is around.” Looks like post baby The Bachelor / Bachelorette / Bachelor Pad are going to be treadmill-only shows.
Because I wasn’t feeling off and because my ankles, knees, and muscles were still sore from my half on Saturday, I decided to take another rest day. However, today I am getting on that treadmill no matter what.
Breakfast was a two part-er.
I packed a lunch but didn’t eat all of it because I ate crackers instead.
And then I ate
but not together. Yet.
Thought for the day
