I rarely take sick days from work, but running is a different story. Yesterday was no exception. I woke up with lower back pain and a sore throat. I thought I would rest during the day and wait until after work to run. When I got home not only did my throat and back still hurt I was drained of any energy. I laid on the couch until Dan got home with some friends, kissed him goodnight at 7:30, and went to bed.
I was hoping I would wake up this morning a new woman. I do have more energy, but the pains are still there. Also, Courtney texted me that she couldn’t run this morning because her throat was really sore. Great.
I actually think running makes me feel better when I am sick, or it might be that if I don’t run I feel that much worse. So, I think I have it in me for 3 miles today, but nothing crazy.
Food
Breakfast was a delicious bowl of cereal. I really should stop buying cereal because if I have some in the pantry I will rarely choose anything else to eat.
I packed the ingredients for a turkey-apple-brie sandwich for lunch, but forgot to slice the apple. I ended up taking a bit of apple, then taking a bit of sandwich. Keeping it classy.
The watermelon is one of the best I have had. So sweet and fresh.
I spent most of dinner time on the couch, so grabbed a few easy snacks for dinner.
Hoping for a healthier day today.
Thought for the day
The same can be said for pharmacists. Hehehe.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. :( Every time I walk down the cereal aisle I make contact with that Peanut Butter Cheerios, but I've resisted it so far. I know I'll eat the whole box!!
