Guess what happens when you spend the weekend sitting on your rear and not eating the most appropriate fuel?
When you run six miles on Monday morning it is hard. Really hard. Like, how in the world am I going to run 2.18 times that PLUS hills in 3 weeks hard.
I treadmillled it yesterday while watching Glee, and I had to talk myself out of stopping about every 5 minutes. But, when I was done, I felt great and happy to start my week off on such a determined note.
I jumped off the treadmill and headed straight to the kitchen to pour myself a bowl of peanut butter cheerios. I may need a peanut butter cheerios intervention.
I had an orange before lunch and a pear after lunch. Sometimes I forget to take pictures of my “just fruit” snacks that don’t have points values, but I realize that those are very important to note because they are what keeps me going in between meals.
I took a break from work and met my cousin Amanda for lunch at Ingredient.
The turkey burger was calling my name. Probably because it was topped with something called sriracha aioli. Sold. I will now be mixing mayo with sriracha for every meal. I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. It was great to chat and catch up with my cousin over yummy food.
Other dinner snacks – two mini bags of popcorn.
I really loved the flavor of the lime and salt popcorn, but the nutrition could stand some improvement. Maybe I should look into how to create lime flavored salt.
My brother in law’s family brought Twizzlers to the hospital the day that Hallaway was born and since then I have not been able to stop thinking about them. I finally had a few for dessert last night to quench that craving.
