Yesterday I treadmilled it for 3 miles while finishing up an episode of Glee. I love running to that show because the very cheesy and dramatic story line keeps me entertained while the music pumps me up. This particular episode featured an oldie but a good, Christiana Aguilera’s “Fighter.”
I guess I was in a feisty mood, because this was just the song I needed to get me fired up. Towards the end, I tried to imagine a particular person who had done me wrong that I could think about, but no one came to me. I guess I forgive pretty easily. Either way, I will definitely be adding that to my next half marathon play list. And maybe I need to think of someone I want to fight in between now and then. Hehehe.
Food
Breakfast was strawberry overnight oats.
I celebrated Cinco de Mayo a day early with a delicious taco salad for lunch.
After work I headed to my sister’s house to meet up with the fam before heading to the Royal’s game. (No, there is still no baby yet. Sigh. Maybe a Cinco de Mayo baby?) While there Kauffman asked for a hot dog and I made him one. I snacked on an apple and some string cheese (3) and then some chips (5). But, what I really wanted that whole time was a hot dog, so when I got to the game this happened.
Thought for the day:
Points Breakdown:
Daily Points (30) + Activity Points (6) – Eating Points (41) = –5
Weekly Points 49 – 5 = 44
MMMMMM! Your overnight oats look so good! (and so does that hot dog) Is that jelly in your oats? I love overnight oats but I am trying to cut the points on mine some. Guess I need to try skipping the peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteYep - it is Trader Joe's strawberry fruit spread. It is pretty low in calories. I usually add peanut butter to mine, but not this morning. To cut points I use plain fat free Greek Yogurt and no sugar added almond breeze. Will that help you? :)
DeleteYum, that strawberry fruit spread sounds good! and thanks, those changes help me out!
