I swear I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
Last night as Dan, Jessie, Cody, Kauffman and I were walking to our car after another (very sad) Royals loss, Dan disappeared. I turned around and asked Jessie where Dan went and she replied, “He went to go get a sleeping bag.”
Apparently there was a lone red sleeping bad sitting in the middle of the parking lot, and Dan just couldn’t pass it up. He was so proud of his new treasure that he couldn’t wipe the grin off his face. He said it was “soaked in something” but “it will wash right out.”
Eewww. Good thing trash day is Monday.
Before the game we picked up some Fun House Pizza for tailgating.
Too bad we couldn’t stay for karaoke.
He saves sleeping bags and delivers pizza. What more could a girl want?
I ordered the veggie with chicken and was really full after two pieces. It was okay, but Fun House isn’t known for the veggie pizza, so I wasn’t expecting much.
Yesterday Courtney and I busted out a humid 6 miles at 6 am. When we finished, it felt so great to have the rest of the day ahead of me. I need to keep my Saturday runs early more often.
I brought my tasty pastry to a new level by adding sliced apple for my pre-run breakfast.
My after run breakfast was a protein packed kale and feta omelet. Delish.
I heated up some leftover turkey meatloaf and a sweet potato for lunch.
