A healthy surprise was waiting for me on my doorstep when I arrived home from work yesterday.
I am super excited to have re-signed up for the Door to Door Organics services. Now every week I can look forward to a delivery of fresh organic fruits and vegetables, most of which are locally grown.
I had this service before I moved and can say that they are legit. It is so easy and convenient. They send out an email every Friday listing what is going to be in your box, you can make substitutions until Tuesday, and your box is at your doorstep by Wednesday. You can get as little or as much food as you want. It doesn’t get any easier than that. I kind of want to do all of my grocery shopping online.
You better believe that I chomped through a mango as soon as I opened that sucker.

Our dinner also featured some items from the delivery – roasted broccoli and sweet potatoes were sides to some pretty messy Sloppy Joe’s.
Dan had the genius idea to add some spicy BBQ sauce to the Sloppy Joe sauce. It was supah good.
Breakfast was another broccoli and cheese omelet.
Lunch was an almond butter and fruit spread sandwich – a true sign that I haven’t grocery shopped in over a week. Notice that broccoli is my vegetable of choice this week?
My lack-of-volume lunch left me starving by the time I got to my car when I scarfed down a Kashi bar without taking a pic (4).
Dessert was frozen yogurt with Better’N Peanut Butter and chocolate syrup while catching up on Justified with Dan.
Does anyone else watch Justified? I love it, and can’t help but have a crush on both the good and bad guys in the show. Those guys now how to make a cowboy hat look good. Every time it comes on Dan looks at me, laughs, and says, “Rachie Likey.” Hehehe.
Yesterday I busted out 4.5 miles while reading The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes. It felt AH-mazing to return to the familiar treadmill after my break / elliptical hiatus.
