Happy Fat Tuesday!
I can't believe Lent is already here. Are you going to give anything up? I already have a few ideas brewing, but will set those plans in motion tomorrow.
Last night Dan went to a friend's house for dinner. I saw that as an excuse to have things that Dan would not classify as dinner for dinner. I don't know what his guidelines are, but he has strict rules for what would count as dinner, and what "doesn't count" and therefore requires you to still eat an actual dinner.
A bowl of cereal? Doesn't count.
A peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Doesn't count.
An entire bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos? Most definitely doesn't count. (I learned that one the hard way.)
Last night my dinner was full of things that don't count and I loved it.
It was just me, The Bachelor, and my baked sweet potato fries.
I almost cried into my frozen yogurt container when the show ended. He is an idiot. Even though I don't want to watch the rest of the season, I know I will. Sigh.
Looking at these pictures, although I stayed on plan, my choices weren't all that nutritious. Maybe I should start listening to Dan. Don't tell him I said that.
I mixed up my breakfast by adding 1/2 package of banana pudding mix to a cup of fat free Greek yogurt, then added a banana and one graham cracker on top.
It was very tasty, but a little dry. Next time I will try to thin it out with some milk.
Lunch was a staple - buffalo chicken with carrots.
I am going to try to keep my runs pretty low-key this week. Yesterday I ran 4 miles while watching Pan Am.
Thought for the day
Daily points (31) + Running Points (9) - Eating points (42) = -2
Weekly points (49) - Mon (2) = 47
