Right when I started my mom called, so I talked to her for a while without paying attention to my pace or distance. Without much thought I made it to my halfway point and my RunStar Ap said in my ear,
"Distance 2.1 miles; pace 8 minutes 30 seconds."
What? I was so pumped, because I never run that fast without really thinking about it. I spent the next two minutes thinking I was pretty dang awesome and that this whole half marathon thing was going to be a cake walk. I was so happy I took a picture of myself.
Then, the voice in my ear went off again,
"Distance 3.1 miles; pace 2 minutes 5 seconds."
FAIL. Guess I wasn't as awesome as I thought. When I got home I mapmyrun-ed-it and turns out I ran 3.5 miles in 35 minutes. Here's to staying the same.
I added some fresh jalapenos and frozen spinach to 2 eggs and 1/8 C feta cheese for breakfast.
Lunch was leftovers from the night before. I only ate one piece of chicken.
Guess what? It's Easter candy time, which means that I will be enjoying one serving of Sweet Tart Jelly Beans (the best candy on Earth) everyday. And...look what I found:
Individually wrapped baggies, each worth 1 point. One more jellybean and it would have been 2. Nice. Someone is looking out for me and my lack of self control with these beans.
Dinner was another wonderful crock pot recipe find - Asian Pork with Mushrooms. Click *here* for the recipe. I put it on top of a bed of spinach to make it greener.
Dessert was the same as the night before - FF frozen yogurt, 1 tbs of chocolate chips, 1 tbs of Better'n Peanut Butter.
