You grab the container of cold spaghetti sauce from the refrigerator, put it in your cup holder, and eat it on your drive to work.

Well, maybe you wouldn't do that, but it's exactly what I did. At first I thought I was just in a low-blood-sugar induced craze, but I think I may have started a tradition. It was convenient, packed with protein and veggies, and made use of my probably-would-have gone-bad-leftovers. Overall win.
|Lunch and snacks (11): salad of champions (with an extra chicken patty), yogurt, carrots and banana|
After work I made the trek to Westport to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday with her co-workers. It was my first experience at Westport Flea Market,
which, apparently, is an actual flea market.
Too bad the stores were closed for the day, or else Big Momma would have done some serious shopping. :)
It was wonderful to meet my mom's co-workers and celebrate her birthday with them.
I didn't get a chance to try one of their burgers or the cake, but I did enjoy a glass of wine.
Happy Birthday J-FO!
When I left, I realized I didn't have time to make dinner. And since I was already in Westport...
...I ended up getting Thai Place to go. I was really craving some more green curry chicken, like I had on Saturday, but when I asked the guy on the phone if they had "light" coconut milk, he asked what that was. Sigh. It was worth a try. So, instead I had spring rolls and some satay chicken (with a smidgen of the peanut sauce).
|Dinner (21): spring rolls and satay chicken|
Dessert was a TJ's mango cream bar (3).
Dan and I ate our take-out watching last week's Modern Family (hilarious).
Today I am hoping to get some sprints in, then tomorrow is a 10 mile run. I am trying to decide what movie I should download....
Have a great day!
