Yesterday (for the first time this week) I actually ran before I went to work. I ran 4 miles while watching the first part of the movie P.S.

I chose it because 1. My Hulu que is completely empty except for this and 2. I love Topher Grace. All I can say is that it is a really weird movie. Really weird. About 10 minutes in I was wishing I was watching P.S. I Love You. I don't know if I will finish it. Has anyone else seen it? Is it worth it to see the end?
Running in the morning made the rest of the day so much smoother. Although I did go to the wrong hotel to pick up an applicant I was interviewing. Who knew that Overland Park had two Hyatt Places? Geeze.
For breakfast, I had some of the dessert I had made from the night before. (Click *here* for the recipe). Anything that can be a dessert and a filling breakfast is wonderful in my book!

Snack (nothin) |
I conducted an interview over lunch, which was catered. I was able to choose from a list of sandwiches, and picked the vegetarian option (for the first time in my life) the Mediterranean wrap, which had hummus, balsamic vinegar, lots of veggies, and feta cheese. Although I greatly appreciated the free lunch, I am really bad a trying to figure out the nutrition information of something like that. So I broke down the ingredients, and then added a few more points for good measure.

Last night Dan agreed to make dinner. Beforehand I explained to him that if he adds anything to the chicken breast, like oil, he needs to measure it, so I know the nutritional information. So, when I walked into the kitchen and saw him adding oil and peanut sauce all willy-nilly, I yelled, "you just don't understand" and stormed upstairs to my office.
I realize that was a bit dramatic (I think low-blood-sugar-Racheal may have made an appearance). So, I ate some beef jerky, and went downstairs to apologize. Good thing, because dinner was amazing.

Dinner: roasted veggies (1) chicken (4) rice (3) |
For dessert I finished off the chocolate-banana-oat-muffins. Four of them (12). Don't judge me. I had to fuel up for my 9 mile run today!
Daily points (33) + running points (9) - eating points (40) = 2
Thought for the Day:

Aww..this made me laugh! My boyfriend cooks a lot. I've tried pounding it into his head that I need to track oil, sauce..whatever. One day I walked into the kitchen and saw him measuring EVOO and thought it was the cutest thing. :)
