Some Christmas presents are starting to come in....
Guess who the big one if for? Here's a hint: every time I walk by it I can't get the "hot dog" song from Mickey Mouse Club House out of my head. Hehe.
Yesterday my pantry and fridge were looking pretty bleak, so I stopped by the grocery store on the way to work to pick up lunch and settled on this:
The flavor was delicious, but it lacked in the vegetable department as salads go. Also, instead of satisfying my craving for Thai food it only made it worse. Specifically, thai peanut sauce. So, after work I went back to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients to attempt a re-creation for lunch today:

Which we had for dinner last night. YUM!
Run = FAIL.
I guess Wednesday must be my lazy day, because I overslept today and didn't get a chance to run before I left for work. But, I packed a bag and planned to run on my lunch break....which never happened. Instead I headed down to the gym after work.
I hopped on the treadmill and watched Glee and sped up during the songs. This was great until around 2.5ish miles when my shins started hurting, bad, like someone was stabbing them with a knife. So I stopped. Got off the treadmill. And walked to my car with my head hung in shame.
I was so mad at myself the whole drive that I almost got on the treadmill at home to finish the 4.5 miles. However, I have never had shin splints, and I wouldn't want to start now, so instead I stretched, chugged some water, and made dinner:
Chicken sausage, asparagus, and goat cheese awesomeness!
Tomorrow is sprints, hopefully my shins won't hurt anymore. Friday is a long run: 7 miles!
